Augh, I'm so stroked about Windows 7, I actually stayed up and got a hold of a beta key before the 1 million download cap was reached! I haven't bothered to install it yet, though, because of the hassle of removing Windows XP and reinstalling Windows 7 on a new partition. The last time I actually bothered with that, I ended up messing up the boot sequence, locking myself out from my second partition. I'm using Windows Vista at the moment, and I'll be completely honest, but I've had absolutely zero problems with this Operating System. It's actually a lot faster than XP, and my FPS has increased quite a bit when I game. I don't really understand the need to bash the OS, but I think the majority of the problem lies with those who are running Windows 98, or a computer made in 2001 thinking that Vista will be a smooth transition for them.
If there was one thing I've always wanted to do with my computer, that would be over clocking. Unfortunately, I'm too scared to over clock. Basically, any processor made, whether it be 2.1ghz, 3.0ghz... and so on are not actually being used to their full potential, but rather their stable speed. It is possible to increase the speed of any processor by quite a bit, enough that you'll see a huge difference, but the cons to this is overheating and a chance to fry your processor / motherboard if you don't know what you're doing. The only component I have ever over clocked, and recently, would be my RAM settings. I haven't tried anything else in fear that I might destroy my computer. :(
3 more months before I can finally study for Server Administration... Come on, Network +! |

Not terribly much to report on, but I felt like a quick update.
I believe today was something of a milestone for me. I'm finally back to a kind of 'creative zone', where the ideas are flowing very freely, very easily to me, and from me through my hands into this and that. It all sounds terribly artisté, no? It's not quite as exciting as it sounds - progress hasn't been terribly fast, in either case.
But, I've really been sinking some energy into it lately. Work makes me happy. In the end, fuck everything else, because that's what matters most.

The best metal band in history, and possibly better than any other genre of music I've listened to.
Prove me wrong. |

I think I might be getting a new job at school, having to do with the field I'm getting into! Which means I'll be getting experience! Yay!
Also, Prettz needs to give me his AIM screen name so we can talk about hot Katie and ninja zombies which is that of Resident Dysentery! And other irrelevant topics. |
